A nano cache hidden on a Broadwater Esplanade parkland.
This cache just makes it into my musical/song titles/group/band names category. Well alright there was no band called A Flock of Pelicans but these big birds flock beside the lagoon next to this cache.
The narrow public parkland along this stretch of the Broadwater has been remodelled and all manner of interesting art works and playthings installed at considerable expense by the local Council i.e us ratepayers. So let's use it.
Muggles all over the place here at all hours of day and even at night so this has to be a very small cache not easily seen.
The area is well lit so is safe at night. Lots of people, bicycles, and dogs on leads use the pathway that winds through the grass between the road and the water. This is still water, a lagoon, if you want to avoid the surf beaches. Lots of play equipment for little ones, and exercise fiends meet for fitness workouts. It all happens here at the point where the old Brisbane road met the seaside long before the Pacific Highway or the M1, in the days when when it took 2 hours to drive to "The Beach".
Stealth must be your first, middle and last name while doing this cache. Shouldn't be too hard to do, other people are all minding their own business kick boxing, supervising children on swings, or weaving their bikes in and out of pedestrians.
Put up your hand if you would like to welcome a new cache to Labrador. Then come and brave the tourists and terriers, lovers and littlies, mothers and marathon men, and grab another find.
