Geocache Description:

A 200ml camoed Sistema in a fairly obvious tree. It contains logbook, pencil and a few swaps. You do not need to leave the path. Please rehide exactly as you found it.

Having been a yachtie for many years I have had high regard for Lidgard boat builders and sails for as long as I can remember. I had the very fortunate pleasure to stay in Lidgard house in smelting house bay which is now owned by the RNZYS just recently.

You can get to this cache by either the wharf at Lidgard house or Kawau Island Yacht Club wharf. The cache is roughly equadistent between the two on a public path. If you do not have your own water craft it is possible to come by Rubens ferry or water taxi.

I highly recommend the burgers at the yacht club if you stay long enough for a meal.
