Geocache Description:

Tupperware container containing log book, pen, swaps and history of Inglewood 1889 - 1910. (one of a set of five caches that have photocopies of Inglewood History)

Inglewood's Old Reservoir, located above Inglewood. In early years locals were concerned about the reservoir flooding and the run-off flooding the town. Many had dug channels are located nearby. The water ran from here into the town channels, then in extreme cases, ran along the calder to the Bul a Bul creek.

In the 1970's and 1980's the shooting club used to fly clay birds over the reservoir for competitions (an unusual area for a rifle range).

The tree lines display where the water used to be. However, the reservoir was close to (or was) empty in about 2008.

Inglewood's new reservoir has water pumped into it from the Loddon River.
