Geocache Description:

This be a revamped cache after it be plundered by scoundrels. Now it be back in busness and restocked.

Whilst on the good ship Venus…….anyhow that’s another story. Pirates are supposed to use picks and shovels, burying their treasure chests in the ground, and pacing their steps from the nearest tree. These days its all about the environment and ecology…so no burials, no disturbing the ground. Nevertheless, having scuttled a local schooner and sending her to Davy Jones’s locker, I am forced to offload my treasure here.

Even though no picks or shovels were used, the pirate pacing system was. I used an antique GPS and a compass. The two waypoints are a small container with a green lid. They are placed in hollows or rock overhangs. Here you’ll find directions on the amount of paces required to get to the next point. A compass was used to gain these directions, so one will be handy. It won’t be an easy task as the GPS only gets you to the first point.

The treasure chest is full of goodies. Please leave Blackbeard’s “B” in the cache. Even though no tracks were used there are some around. Be careful not to be seen by landlubbers.
