Geocache Description:

A very enjoyable walk up the Kakamatua Stream. Best done on a hot summers day. About 6km walking in total. Allow a half day.

I would suggest walking up the Farley Track to Foys Folly, then following the stream from there. The stream follows only a slight gradient. Wear good shoes and expect to get wet (although you shouldn't have to swim). Don't go after a lot of rain. The cache is located at the Panto Stream junction. It is on the left (looking upstream), at the base of a tree, just above head height. See spoiler photos - Panto Junction and Cache placement Just a little further on from the cache is a great waterfall and refreshing pool - great for a dip.
