As you enter QEII park from the south end you will pass under an archway, bounce over several judder bars and hopefully spot the information board structure to your left.
The co-ordinates given should locate you within view of the information boards shown in the picture.
All the answers to your picnic puzzle can be found on the main information board in the structure shown in the photo
The views from the adjacent beach are well worth a visit.It is a five minute walk and worth the detour on a fine day.
The final cache location is at South 40 5A.BCD East 174 5W.XYZ
A = No of letters in last word of line starting with “Now” in Dear Jeans Xmas card.
B = Number of horse path symbols in track information table minus two
C = Sum of digits in walking time in minutes for Yankee Trail
D = Half number of map key symbols excluding Entrances & Park Building symbols
W = Number of days Park Ranger summer service is available
X = Number of letters in the canoe
Y = Number of map symbols on Inland Track
Z = Number of arrows on “Tracks are shared”logo
Please make sure you check for approaching muggles and replace cache securely.
The cache is a black screw lid tester pot and contains no writing implement so please bring your own.
To access the cache unscrew the base in the usual rotational direction.
Make sure the thread is accurately engaged on replacement.
