In a wild forgotten bit of bushland in the middle of Wingala!
Where is WIngala? It is on Street Maps but nobody says they live there! The buses used to run here as a destination, the local shops were called Wingala shops but the name has all but died out.
We were always told that it was the name of the hill, where Curl Curl and Dee Why met.
I grew up on this hill and have not moved far. It is criss crossed with secret places and short cuts and steps between streets.
Here is a bit of unimproved bush that we used to play forts in, as kids. It has a few rough tracks in it probably from the local teenagers, but is largely unused.
On Father's Day we placed our first Cache. It has wild animals in it, construction workers ( the PC version of toy soldiers) a geocoin and a poker chip, from Dad.
Geocache is an empty plastic jar with a black lid. Bend the logbook spine slightly to get it out of the mouth of the jar.
Good hunting!
PS yes I found a small tick on me the next day! The other four people didn't get any though. Also we walked on the wooden boards, and it did not occur to us that there was anything under them.
