At WP1 you will need to find the Plaque Dedicated By “The
Institution of Engineers, Australia” This plaque “Acknowledges
Bundaberg as the World Centre of Development and Manufacture of
Sugar Cane Harvesters”
On this plaque you will find that Australian farms started
developing sugar cane harvesters around the 189As, and the year
that this plaque was dedicated 19BC.
At WP2 you will find a Memorial to Squadron – Leader H.J.L. Bert
Hinkler. On here you will find his date of Birth Dth December 189E,
and the date he was accidentally killed in the Italian Alps 8th
January 19F3
