Geocache Description:

Tim and Amanda loved the times they could come and stay at auntie's house. Auntie would always have a fresh baked pie, and cookies when they arrived. She love to tell stories and the kids loved to be whisked away on the adventures she would share. Her stories were mostly about when she was a little girl and would go exploring even in places where Tim and Amanda would like to go when they visited. Up over the hill and along the ridge to where you can look down on the coastline and see the little islands just past the peninsula.

One of their favorites was her story of a gateway that took her to another world. Then she would tell of animals and creatures which would really challenge their imaginations.

On this day after a big lunch and then some hot apple pie, Tim and Amanda decided to walk down toward the old bridge. As they got close they heard the sound of rustling. All they could see were the bushes, and the vines of fruit and the yellow flowers glistening amidst the green foliage. They heard the noise again and decided to get down on their hands and knees and part the vines away to see what was making all the ruckus. As they parted the vines and looked in they saw what looked like a very large squirrel, yet it was walking upright and had a walking stick! When it saw Amanda & Tim it decided to briskly turn and walk briskly into the foliage. The children followed. It was just a very short distance when they came out into a field. But something was different. As they looked around things seemed a bit... strange.
It was as if they had just walked into another world! .....
