Standard cache with a nice, but at times muddy circular walk.
This cache is best done as a shortish (1.5 mile) circular walk on the edge of the village of Kimbolton.
From the parking point walk up the track/footpath into the woods heading towards N52 15.325 W2 42.479 where you turn right across the fields. The next stile is impassable so go through the second gateway and cross the road when you get to it. Go up the side road and then turn right along the footpath towards the cache.
Once you’ve retrieved the cache you can cross the fields to the tea rooms & farm shop at N52 15.068 W2 42.256 for a well earned cuppa or continue along the footpath back to the car park. The gates on this last section of the walk are locked and quite rickety, so take care!
