A very pleasant, relaxing stroll along a sealed path will reward you with an ‘easy’ find.
The name; Well, originally there was going to be co-ordinates given to be able to approach this cache from either end of this path (even though you still can), these co-ordinates will have you going up to the cache and not down. (only slight incline)
This sealed walking/bicycle track runs from Mowbray through to Rocherlea and is approximately 3km in length. The cache is placed roughly half way along the track (3km return trip) and approaching it from the Mowbray end is by far the more scenic root. It passes around the back of the golf course and if the ‘cache find’ is attempted in the evening (as this also was the time of placement), then I’m sure you’ll find as I did, the wild life is abundant!! All the ‘critters’ making their way through to the green grasses of the fairways I’m sure…
The reason behind this cache being a ‘Multi-Cache’ is to bring you to me….
I never seem to find the time (mostly working) to attend the many events organized around this State so this way I may get to meet some of you in my own front yard….
Yes, the house number you are required to locate to fill in the missing numbers in the cache co-ordinates is the home base of the Mob.
If you see some guy mowing the front lawn with a GPS strapped to the mower, say hello!! LOL.
OK, at WP1 you will need to locate the house number (#) and then substitute this number into the equation below…
Cache is located at; S-41°23.A E-147°08.B
A = 367 + #
B = 360 - #
Once obtaining the cache co-ordinates you can then park at;
S 41°24.042 E 147°08.428 and make you way to the cache from here.
Cache is a 1.2lt sistema container with log book, pen and an assortment of swaps.
