Another elevated view of the Tamar River but this time from the eastern side.
This cache is located just off to the side of the East Tamar Highway with a parking area situated on the other side of the highway directly opposite.
The view from the parking area its self is quite spectacular, especially late in the afternoon with the sun reflecting of the river but unfortunately I couldn’t find any suitable spots to hide the cache here.
When you cross the highway PLEASE take care, although you have a clear view of oncoming traffic from both directions, this highway is very busy and carries a large number of heavy vehicles.
A relatively easy climb up to the cache location will have you even higher up to take in the scenic view on offer here looking back down the river towards the North West.
Cache is a 1.2lt sistema container with log book, pen and a few small swaps.
