A surprising little spot in the country.
This cache is located in one of those out of the way places, that surprises people that come past.
The area is well set up for family outings, picnics and Bar B Ques. Tables and chairs both outdoor and covered, toilets, water, playground, BBQ, and lighting, its all there. There is even a swimming hole, with a tarzan swing, but at the time of cache placement, the hole needs a good flush and refill. The amenities are provided by the local progress association, and are also a memorial to the locals from the areas history.
If you have a 4wd, and dont mind a rough track, and have nothing in tow, there is a shortcut to Mt Morgan close by. Travel south along the road from the cache site, turning right after about 4-5 km, and follow that road to the end. A rough track continues on, and climbs up to Struckoil. Apart from that, access to the cache site is by good, well formed dirt and bitumen roads.
The cache container should be very easy to find, just be careful of any wildlife.
FTF honours go to Avagomob.
