Geocache Description:

This multi involves a walk through Thunder Point Coastal Reserve which is a significant historic and cultural site for the Warrnambool district.

Look out for wildlife and birdlife along the way. There is ample evidence of echidnas along the sides of the path.

The return walk from the carpark to the cache and back is about 2.5km and should take about 30min. The majority of the walk is on a well maintained gravel path. The last section still follows a trail, but is very sandy. The cache is hidden within 15m of the sandy track and you can get to it without disturbing/ stepping on any vegetation.

We hope you enjoy the views as you walk. Sunset over the water can be spectacular.
