Geocache Description:

"A Pink Tree with Dimples" seen on a Mountains To Mangroves sign recently I think describes the majestic native Spotted Gum well enough. Near the cache you'll see two of them in close proximity about 2 metres apart.
1 Jul 11: The tree that snapped off during the storm a couple years ago in November, has died. :(

Tracks and trails cover the diverse habitats of the Bunyaville State Forest fairly comprehensively so pick one you like and it'll probably get you close to GZ [Track 7 is the closest]. The park's main entrance is via Old Northern Road where you'll find a trail map. Motor vehicles have some restricted access and the Environmental Education Centre, Picnic Area, and most other facilities, are open during the day. Gates close at 6:30pm in summer though parking is available outside the park at any time.
