Where the Haldon are we? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

grahamf72: Popped in today to check this one out after reports of a wet log. Decided to archive instead of maintenance, because the area is no longer as nice as it used to be, with lots of graffiti in and around the cave, and getting overgrown. Also I can't get to the area as frequently as I'd like anymore (it's over 12 months since I last visited). If someone else wants to have this location feel free.

Geocache Description:

A rest area on the highway with a few picnic tables and a nice mountain creek. The hunt for the cache will reveal an interesting geological feature!

You will need to take a little extra care around the rocks in this area - there is a little rock-hopping required to get to the cache location, and if the rocks are wet they will be slippery. It's not very difficult though, and parents with small children will be ok, so long as the weather is dry and they lift the children past the hardest bits.

Although I have never seen anyone else in this location, there is quite a bit of graffiti and litter in the area which indicates there is a fairly high level of muggle activity. Please take care to ensure the cache is not only well covered, but covered inconspicuously.

Cache is a small plastic container.
