Geocache Description:

A short walk along a pleasant track with a little story, should find you this cache.

This cache is placed alongside a lovely walking track that follows an old tramline beside the Latrobe River. The track can be used to connect up to other tracks that can get you up to the Ada Tree - getting back is the only problem!

To get to the cache do not try to go cross-country. Instead find the start of the track which is clearly marked at the junction of Noojee Road and Big Creek Road, at a spot called “The Bump”. S 37 ° 52.249 E 145 ° 48.316 This spot is on a saddle, on the other side of which is the Little Yarra River.

The story goes that the tramline which the track follows was allowed to be built, as long as it did not go over this saddle. So they went under! The tunnel is not accessible now and parts have collapsed, leaving large holes, some of which can be seen beside the track.

The cache is a short walk along this track, and you do not have to leave the track to access it. I found reception to be awkward at gz due to some large trees, and spent some time getting reasonable coordinates, so feel free to use the clue.
