Geocache Description:

A quick stroll up the hill should find this cache next to an old Board of Works water storage facility.

This reserve is off Diosma Road in Eltham and was untill reciently, Melbourne Water property. Since it has been handed over to council as a reserve for the conservation for the Eltham Copper Butterfly. Once, on the fence offed area, there stood a number of large water storage tanks which were used to supply Eltham with mains pressure water.

The cache is a film canister which has been hidden well under some bark/leaf litter. Inside is a pencil and a log book, as well as a clue for a geocaching australia cache called "Co-ordinated Kaos" GCA members only (visit link) ).

If doing this cache at night, look to the trees and see if you can see any of the resident sugar gliders!
