Geocache Description:

Jamberoo Lookout which overlooks the Jamberoo Valley is one of the best lookouts in the South Coast area.

Jamberoo was establised in 1820, originally to harvest the rich cedar forest that built much of colonial Sydney. By the 1830's it was a thriving village at the centre of a rich dairy area. Jamberoo is the home of Australia's first butter factory which opened on June 18, 1884.

***PLEASE WATCH OVER THE GEOKIDDIES SO THEY DO NOT VENTURE TOO CLOSE TO THE CLIFF EDGES*****
