In a beautiful area of the Gorge as far as a vehicle can go. Whilst there, take an easy trek to the new Swing Bridge. An impressive structure of steel and taut wire strung high above the Waiohine River, where, trout fishermen wallow far below, in waders, chasing an elusive trophy!!
Wander down the easy accessible narrow walking track to the river itself and let the beauty and smells of the native bush surround you. An abundance of birdlife make themselves known in the trees with the musical trilling and whistling.
This cache is in an area very popular with bushwalkers and hikers alike, so it is a challenge in itself to seek out.
The cache is a 200ml sistema camo container with logbook and pencil, plus small bits and pieces to exchange.
