The cache is located on Pandanus Island, which is a tiny island just off South Stradbroke. You will need some type of watercraft to get there but it's worth it.
The cache is dedicated to our caching mates the HawMorFords. We once read that they are trying to clear up every cache within 100 km of "The Mexican". So hopefully this one and a few others we have lined up may slow up their quest a bit.
The whole area surrounding Pandanus Island is fantastic. You can camp with facilities nearby, fish and swim. Tom and I placed another cache on a nearby island while we had 2 days away camping. If you can spare 2 days away, it is the most fantastic place to unwind. Have fun with this one and bring the mossie spray just in case.
