There are a number of caches in Whites Hill Reserve but they all require a little bit of a hill climb. This is an easy cache for the kids with playgrounds nearby, no hill climbing required and yet it is still in the bushland.
Please draw something in the logbook with the crayons provided if you are so inclined.
Learning For Life is a group of Home Educating Families living in and surrounding Brisbane whose primary focus is to support each other in home education of their children.
The group meets in parks around Brisbane on a weekly basis. On a week in February 2007 the group met at Whites Hill Reserve (where they've often met) and the activity for the day was geocaching. The kids were taught about geocaching, GPSrs, bush walking, etc. Supervised groups were sent out to find a couple of geocaches and at the end of the day a geocache was placed by the group - this geocache.
On return visits to the reserve, kids may visit this cache and read the log entries that have been made. Crayons have been provided for those who may wish to express their artistic flair as well.
