*************
This is our first cache. It is called Rebel's Treat after our dog Rebel, who passed on last December. Years ago our son and I went on a hike and cooked hot dogs over a fire. When my hot dog was done, I turned to get a roll and Rebel had gobbled it up. The cache is near where this happened.
The best way to get to the cache is to mountain bike but walking is an option. In the winter snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are options. The cache should be available in all seasons. If you have a trail map of the State Forest it will be easier
The cache contains patriotic items due to it being Memorial Day. Parking is available at N 42 30.885, W 071 48. 769. Part 1 and part 2 are Micros and are found near the same element. Good Luck! If you have time have a picnic at Rocky Pond.
To make this trip worthwhile, Keys to the Forest and Wolf Cache are within 200 yard of your hike.
