Geocache Description:

Another way into Fort Ord...

BuckyD and I have a family tradition of hiding a cache on Christmas Eve Day. Today we were caught short without a cache, until we visited Mean One, which contained an xray-tech seed cache in it. We had such a great time rambling around in the Eastern reaches of old Fort Ord that we decided to mark the hidden little spot we had started out from with a well deserved trailhead cache. You can drive to within 200 feet of this cache and park on Davenrich St.

If you plan on persuing other caches within the Fort Ord lands, we recommend you print out a Fort Ord Trail Map (pdf)

Many thanks to the Plunketts whose cache page alerted us to this trailhead.
