Vilamoura [Vilamoura] Traditional Cache

Vilamoura is a well known location; people goes there looking for a good beach, for a walk in the marina and for all the restaurants and bars around it. During the summer season it's full of life, with beautiful women (and men, I supose) wandering around and hundreds of tourists having a drink in the countless esplanades. After September the crowd disolves. The traffic fades out. In December may look like a ghost town.

It's pointless to guide a visitor around the bars and restaurants route, the casino and the disco. They are well known. The marina and its walk is probably the heart of Vilamoura and not far one can lay down in the golden sand of Praia da Falésia enjoying the sunny algarvian days. But we thought we could add something here. That's why we created this micro-cache in a lovely garden, so close to the center and still clearly out of the beaten path.

The area of the garden it's relatively small. Probably that's one of the reasons why we always find it so well taken care. Sure, there is too much garbage around, and the few walls are ruined by urban grafitti. But the plants are always in good shape and the original design keeps its freshness. There is a diversity of animal life: frogs, some kinds of fish, small turttles, birds and even water animals usually associated to seafood can be spoted.
