Located near Glenn H. Curtiss Museum. Mr Curtiss was born in Hammondsport in 1878 and was an early maker of motorcycle and airplane engines. He was also responsible for the first aircraft to take off and land on decks of ships at sea. See attached web site for more info about this man's many accomplishments.
The museum is open May 1 to Oct 31. Hours are Mon to Sat from 9-5 and Sun 10-5, except Easter Sunday. There is a fee for the museum but well worth it.
Cache is located outside of the gates, so it can be done outside of the museum hours of operation. Cache is a 4x4 locklid tupperware like container. Small trades are ok but not necessary. Please cover well when done.
