ESCOLA II
Após o sucesso obtido no evento de
divulgação do Geocaching em Rio Maior sucede-lhe o evento
Geocaching na Escola II. O convite surge por parte do Núcleo
de Estudantes de Gestão do Lazer e Animação Turística da Escola
Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril
(ESHTE). Novamente, o
Geocaching@PT,
acreditando no valor destas acções, leva o Geocaching aos alunos
desta escola e a todos os que queiram participar.
O evento irá iniciar-se com uma série de palestras sobre
o Geocaching. Haverá também lugar para uma apresentação sobre o uso
de receptores de GPS. Após um almoço convívio, o evento avança
com uma “cachada” em grupos mistos de alunos e geocachers,
culminando com a partilha de experiências.
After the previous
success of the Rio Maior event (Geocaching at School I), here it
is: Geocaching at School II. We were invited by a group of students
from the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril
(ESHTE). So, once again, the
Geocaching@PT, with its
large experience in this type of events, will present Geocaching to
the students and to everyone who wishes to join
us.
The event will comprise a few
short classes about Geocaching. There will also be a presentation
on the use of GPS receivers. After lunch, there will be a
cache-hunt: mixed groups of students and geocachers will try to
find 5 caches.

| PERCURSO
O local escolhido para a cachada é a esplendorosa costa marítima
entre o Guincho e a Biscaia. O ponto de encontro é a Praia do
Abano. Estacionamentos no local ou junto ao Bar do Guincho.
Para o percurso ter em atenção o uso de chapéu, botas tipo
montanha, roupa flexível, corta-vento, protector solar, água,
reforço alimentar... GPSr!

| CACHE-HUNT
The sea shore between Guicho and Biscaia was the place
chosen for the afternoon cache-hunt. The meeting point is in the
Abano beach. There is a small car park there, and a larger one by
the Bar do Guincho, on the way to the meeting point.
Don’t forget to take a hat, mountain boots (or good
walking shoes), light-weight garments, light-weight jacket, sun
cream of high protection factor, water, energetic bars or energetic
food… GPSr!
