Geocache Description:


You must solve this logic problem in order to get the final coordinates. The is similar to one authored by Albert Einstein, but don't let that scare you. As logic problems go, it is no more than a 3. Once you have solved the puzzle completely, answer the 10 questions and then assign a number to each answer using the chart provided. These ten numbers are the last six digits of the N and W coordinates, in order, which will lead you to a logically-placed, but well-camoflaged tiny plastic jar, about half the size of a film cannister. NO NEED TO TURN OVER ROCKS OR FEEL AROUND METAL GRATES. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it. BYO Talking Stick. Good luck!

THE LOGIC PUZZLE: On Montana Avenue there are five houses, painted five different colors. In each house lives a Montana geocacher. These five homeowners each drink different kind of beverage, prefer different types of caches and keep different pets.

THE CLUES: (numbered for convenience only and have nothing to do with the coordinates)
1. LewM lives in a red house.
2. Brian keeps dogs as pets.
3. Indystone drinks tea.
4. The green house is next to and on the left of the white house.
5. The owner of the green house drinks coffee.
6. The person who likes Puzzle caches raises birds.
7. The owner of the yellow house prefers Traditional caches.
8. The person living in the center house drinks milk.
9. RScout lives in the first house.
10. The one who favors Multicaches lives next to the cat owner.
11. The person who keeps horses lives next to the person who finds Traditional caches most appealing.
12. The person who loves Virtual caches drinks Koolaid.
13. Red Hot Mama adores Webcams.
14. Rscout lives next to the blue house.
15. The person who likes Multicaches has an immediate neighbor who drinks water.
16. One geocacher keeps fish as pets.
