The Red Lady and I hid this cache after rehiding the Afton Canyon
Cache The Mojave River flows through this canyon and it was formed
19,000 years ago when Lake Manix drained. Driving to this cache you
will experience landscapes similar to Red Rock and the Grand
Canyon. I would not try this without a 4X4 as in some areas the
sand is very soft. The cache is not in the riverbed but up on solid
ground. The cache contains the normal swag. Enjoy the hunt as well
as the great scenery. This is one of the few areas in the desert
that have abundant water so please respect the animals that call
this place home.
