Facitman: I keep waiting for the construction fences to be removed but they're still there and I think it'll be a while before all the building is finished.

The posted location will take you to the former site of W. Woodmason's Iceworks. The Woodmason family were successful market gardeners and land owners in the Malvern district in the later decades of the 19th centenary and early 20th centenary. William James Woodmason established a dairy on this site after inheriting his fathers prize winning Jersey herd and he went on to be a successful breeder, winning several championships at the Royal Melbourne Show. The Iceworks was established in the early 1900's by the family and continued to operate well into the 1980's.
A plaque is mounted on the current building in recognition on the Woodmason's contribution to the local area and it's from this plaque that you'll get the necessary information to find the final location.
This site holds a personal memory for Facitman as the ice block vending machine, which operated at this location through the 1980’s, provided a few evenings of entertainment “tobogganing” down the hill at nearby Como Park. (Rhinogeo, I guess you remember that!)
The Clues
On the plaque find the following information:
37 50.(G+D)(A+C+G)(H-D), 145 01.(D+K)(J/C)(G+C)
The Cache
The cache is a small container which has been camouflaged and carefully hidden, please take care to replace the cache in exactly the same way as found. The final location can have high foot traffic and parking will be difficult during business hours.
