It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

What better way to celebrate a history milestone than with a visit to A History Apparatus

This reasonably simple cache was set by Partic upon reaching 200 caches.

Cosmopolitan Melbourne has a multitude of public sculptures and artworks spread throughout it's CBD.

Many caches use their artisan charms as often the feature for you to contemplate, or as in this case, calculate.

The coordinates here should bring you near the sculpture named "A History Apparatus". Currently, I've not been able to glean much on it's own history, or the sculptor themselves, but feel free to note it in your log if you figure it out. It's an iconic structure, and one I'm surprised has not been cached already.

While here...
A = The number of groups of air holes on the eastern side of the sculpture (note, there may be a few panels, each with a number of groups of air holes).

And then...
Not too strenuous a walk will find you at the final location, an artwork this time by Maurie Hughes.

The cache is the smallest in the CBD so far. Please be wary of bystanders when you retrieve and replace this cache. Weekday peak and lunch hours may prove challenging as there may be a high pedestrian influence in the area.

Happy caching! It's been that way for me for over 200 caches now!
