Geocache Description:

I wanted to bring you out to this little visited area. This is just off a paved public road and easily accessed with slight bending. It can be reached without any climbing or digging.

Calpine built a controversial 560 Megawatt Power Plant about one mile from here to supply Sacramento power needs after the power blackouts in 2000. Local farmers did not want the noise or carbon dioxide pollution. This spot marks where the power produced joins the trans valley high voltage lines. Looking north one mile you can see the plant and looking a few hundred feet south you can see how the wires are joined in to the main lines. Carry your clip board and look like you know what you are doing.
