Cache is placed near the gravel road that boarders Pinole Creek. It is easily accessible through two steel post that allow people but no cars to enter. Its an area that is usesd by walkers every day.
Pinole Creek runs year around and usually has ducks and egrets in the water or on the bank. I have seen one muscrat in the creek. There is also a small run of steelhead that spawn in the creek each year.
Container is a 35m film canister. It has a log but no pencil-bring your own. It is a log only cache but we included our signature item-some gold flakes in a small glass vial. The vial may be taken by the FTF the cache.
