Harris Ranch Micro Traditional Cache
LarsThorwald: Okay. I guess this one is toast. Used to pass this way all the time heading up north to visit my parents... but that was a long time ago. Now I'm usually flying OVER Harris Ranch, and that's not fair to the cachers with DNF'S down below. So I'm killing this one. Hope someone else steps up!
Thanks for the visits. It's been fun.

Yeah, yeah, EVERYONE hates I-5... but who doesn't love Harris Ranch?
This place is a weird but welcome stop along the long and lonely stretch of I-5 through California's fertile San Joaquin valley. Much more than the typical gas and mini-mart that exists every 20 miles, Harris Ranch offers a sprawling "ranch complex" that has a better than average restaurant, fun gift shop, fresh meat counter that offers the best in Harris Ranch beef, a nice hotel, and much better than average rest rooms. But if you're like me, the most you'll do is hit the bathrooms, wander the giftshop, and head on out. Now, however, you can grab a cache as well.
This one's easy; even, by our own standards, fairly unimaginative. But after four or five hours of driving in a straight line, who's got any imagination left? A simple magnetic 35mm canister, this shouldn't take you long. Hopefully, the little break will make the rest of your journey more enjoyable. Or at least tolerable!
