Located off of the West Frontage Road bike/walk path at the I-80 Ashby St. exit.
It seems like this site is mostly used by windsurfers and fishermen, but a while ago there was a temporary set of scupltures and the dirt path was covered with tiny fragments of amber colored glass (a lot of which is still there). Who knows what, if anything, will be going on there when you visit.
The original container was a yellow, plastic 15oz Nesquik canister about 5"x5"x2" in size. It disappeared sometime in October in 2006. The new container is a small white plastic canister about 3"x3"x3". You'll need your own writing implement.
