Geocache Description:

This is BB's 5th cache.Hidden on the Great South West Walk, this cache affords magnificent views down the gorge section of the Glenelg River. The GSWW is a 250 kilometre walk from Portland, to Nelson and back.Be aware that there are some steep edges near the cache site, and keeping a good eye on any geo-kids is certainly encouraged. These is a good chance that snakes may be out on a sunny day, so be aware. The cache is hidden less than 2 metres off of the track. Park the car in the car park near the corner and follow the GSWW less than 300 metres to the cache site. Cache is a 730 ml clip top container. Original contents include a plastic lizard, Mc Barbie, skating alien, hanky, toy car and a crusty sunsmart keyring. If you were looking for cache treasures... this is not your cache!The gorge walk that leads from the car park will take you 3 or so hours but is spectacular as it follows the cliff tops around the river.Please hide the cache exactly as you find it. Walkers are common along this section of the GSWW.
