One of us grew up in this historic Eichler enclave eons ago and thought it deserved a cache. There is a community park complete with swimming pool nearby the cache location. To learn more about this neighborhood go to: Greenmeadow, Palo Alto.
Although the cache is fairly small, it is not a blinker and it is not attached to any plant matter or on private property. It is not in the fence post caps. No climbing or excavation is required to access the cache. This is a sign-only micro. If you manage to put anything into the cache, we'd like to hear about it. Bring a pen.
The area is easily accessible and has convenient parking on the street.
Please be very careful when retrieving and replacing the cache.
05/22/2004 5:40 P.M. - Increased difficulty level to 4 due to feedback.
05/15/2007 9:00 P.M. - Changed the cache and the location since virtualdavid pretty much gave the cache container type and location away in his log. All previous logs and hints are now useless. You can thank him if you think it's tougher now.
05/22/2007 9:30 P.M. - You can log this cache a second time *IF* you have found it before 05/22/2007.
06/14/2007 5:30 P.M. - Increased the difficulty rating from 4.0 to 4.5 due to feedback and added another hint.
05/17/2009 2:30 P.M. Due to some recent architectural changes to the environment at GZ, we had to relocate the cache a short distance away. Again. We could have left the cache at its previous location, but the terrain rating would have increased from 1.0 to 4.0. We think it will be easier to find at its new location. However... If it appears that the cache no longer qualifies as a 4.5 difficulty hide, we have two more hide styles in mind that will definitely be at least as challenging if not more so.
