Thank God I Made It Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Marko Ramius: The word has come down from GC HQ that these remnants of caching in ABDSP need to finally be archived. We hope someday to establish a relationship with the land managers here so that caching can once again be allowed in the Park, but for now these caches must go the way of all the others.

Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Coyote Canyon at the top of a tough 4WD rock climb.  The highly experienced off-roaders may consider this rock climb a cake walk, but for most, they will be thinking "Thank God I Made It" when they get to the top.

This cache is definitely for those with a high clearance, low range 4WD vehicle.  You will have to negotiate a couple of stream crossings to get to the base of the rock climb.  Don't try the rock climb unless you have off-road experience.  If you get the the base of the rock climb and you don't feel comfortable driving up it, you can park there and easily hike to the cache.  Here are a few waypoints for the drive up Coyote Canyon:

N33 15.399 W116 21.959 From Town, Take Di Giorgio Rd North
N33 19.517 W116 22.056 Start of Dirt Road
N33 21.474 W116 23.871 1st Crossing
N33 21.946 W116 24.965 2nd Crossing
N33 22.285 W116 25.411 3rd Crossing
N33 22.236 W116 25.697 Start of Rock Climb (Put it in Low)

The cache is in a 30 caliber ammo box.
