Ever since I published the first puzzle in this series, Schadenfreude, people have been asking me for hints. Finally, with this new puzzle, I am announcing something to mull over: all of the puzzles in the series, including this one, provide subtle and not-so-subtle hints to solve Schadenfreude! 
This was not done by design initially, but it is the end result of an unintended organic process. Step-by-step instructions are not provided, but you already know some steps and there are some definite themes and methods presented throughout that warrant closer examination. You could say these puzzles provide clues to my M.O. or modus operandi, which is a particular way or method of doing something, especially one that is characteristic or well-established.
As for this puzzle, can you solve the mystery of the labyrinth below? It’s a change of direction for me, but I thought I would try something different. Good luck, don’t get lost, and have some fun!
This puzzle is the ninth in a series of puzzle hides that I have placed on Mount Tamalpais. The puzzles will range in difficulty but maintain higher terrain ratings. All of the hides are ammo cans. If you like puzzles, ammo cans, and adventurous hiking, this series should be right up your alley! All caches are hidden off the beaten path, and I would suggest taking a friend along.
