This event is the seventh of a series of events held every couple of weeks, on a Saturday morning for geocachers to meet up and discuss all things geocaching. They are held an hour after an organized run in a park. Because of listing guidelines, I can’t tell you the group that organizes the run, but I’m hoping you can figure it out, or maybe message me and I can help you out.
These runs are held all over the world, they are 5 kilometres long and are designed for varying abilities, from amateur athletes through to people who just enjoy a nice walk. Like geocaching, they are a great, free way for people to get outside and get active.
Attending this event does NOT mean you need to do the run before. You are more than welcome to just come along, sign the log book have a good old chat about geocaching and maybe support those who choose to do the run. This is a geocaching meet and greet after all, so feel free to bring along TBs, geocoins, stories of adventure, or anything else you might like to swap.
The run starts at 8:00am and finishes after as long as it takes you to walk/run 5 kilometers. This event starts at 9:00am and concludes at 9:30am.
Hope to see as many people as possible.
Please note, dogs are not allowed on Churchill Island.
