Ok let’s get serious for just a second: Every great story has a beginning and of course the awesome community of geocachers across Victoria started a long time ago. It has been fifteen years to be exact. On 24th June 2002 a bunch of cachers met in the Lerderderg State Park for the 1st VIC Cache Event Picnic. From this small event in 2002 things have grown over the past fifteen years. Now there’s a strong community with over 1700 members and the regular yearly MEGA. Geocaching Melbourne would like to invite you to come and celebrate the 15th anniversary of the first Geocaching Event held in Victoria and the great community we have become today at the original event location.
What: Celebrating 15 years of events in Victoria

This event is open to everyone of course, but we really would love to see how many of the original teams from the first event can make it along, wouldn’t you?
