Geocache Description:

On the 2nd May 2000 the U.S. Military flicked a switch which increased the accuracy of the GPS positioning signals for the 24 orbiting Global Positioning Satellites for civilian use.

The next day Dave Ulmer decided to test the new system by placing a bucket of items in bushland in Beavercreek, Oregon, near Portland. He then published the coordinates of his "Stash" on an online community and within 3 days 2 different readers had used their GPS receivers to locate the Stash and publish their experiences.

Honeysuckers have come to the district and what better way to celebrate but in a party

The event will start at 1.00pm with a barby and a cake

The event will finish about 4pm.

For those who want to keep partying on there is accommodation nearby so you can stay on celebrating.

At the coordinates you will find a couple of Barbys a pool and some fun with friends canoes nearby for a bit more fun for the brave

The location is in the tranquel Wakiti Creek Resort all day entry fees have been waved for this event
