Make this year's International Geocaching Day a get outdoors day too!
Anyone who logs an "Attended" at this event earns an official 2017 virtual souvenir badge.




WHEN :
Saturday 19th August 2017, from 13h00 to 13h30.

WHERE :
A mountain top in the You Yangs.

WHAT :
Get outdoors and unwind while taking in the scenic views from a mountain top!
The event will be followed by an optional fireplace BBQ at the Red Gums Picnic Ground.

HOW :
Drive along the You Yangs Circle Drive, park at the Gravel Pit Tor parking area, and make your way up to GZ on foot.
If you're uncertain about making your way there, meet at the parking area and we'll be making our way up at about 12h30. It is a 20 minute walk, mostly offtrack, with about 100m elevation.
We'll walk back down at 13h30.
To continue socializing there'll be an optional fireplace BBQ gathering at the Red Gums Picnic Ground, accessed along the Turntable Drive, straight after the event.
