This cartridge will take you on a tour of gravesites throughout Chippiannock Cemetery that have historical significance to the Civil War. Since this is a historical tour, keep in mind that this is a text-heavy cartridge.
After speaking with the superintendent of Chippiannock, he was not able to grant permission for any caches to be placed on the grounds. You will need to drive to the final location after playing through.
All information was taken from the pamphlet of the same name available in the cemetery office on site. Be respectful. You may only enter the cemetery during daylight hours. Come back another day if a burial is in progress.

What is Wherigo?
For those of you who don't know, Wherigo was created as a means to reintroduce the adventure game genre by making it easy for anyone to create and play location-based adventures in the real world. Using Wherigo, the physical world becomes the background for engaging story lines and location-specific virtual entertainment.
Wherigo is a platform that allows you to build location based GPS experiences on your computer and play them in the real world. Rather than searching for puzzle clues on a screen, you look for them in the field. Using Wherigo, you can create interactive tours, adventure games and puzzles... the possibilities are endless.
How can I play this Cartridge?
First off, you'll need the appropriate Wherigo Player on a Wherigo compatible GPS or smartphone app.
Once you have a player, you just need to download the cartridge for that player. You can do that by clicking on the title banner above or the top link.
For more information on getting started, check out this link. There you'll find tutorials and FAQs to help you out.
How can I build a Cartridge?
We build our cartridges primarily using Urwigo. Urwigo is an interface centering around flow charts and property pages. You can download it by using the link to the right. We, however, are not promoting any certain builder...only providing you with the information available to everyone.
Other builders: The Groundspeak Builder, Earwigo, and Wherigo\\kit. If you need help building, stop by the Wherigo Forums on www.wherigo.com.
