The Centennial Way Trail runs 2.85 miles between the South San Francisco and San Bruno BART stations. It follows the course of the underground BART tube. The trail was completed in May 2009. Trail hours are sunrise to 9:00 PM.
Points of interest along the trail are:
- Centennial Plaza. Located at Orange Avenue at Memorial Drive. Timeline of SSF history from 1908-2008.
- Centennial Dog Park. Between Chestnut and Orange Avenue, at the end of Memorial Drive. Separate areas for small and large dogs. Combination of artificial turf, decomposed granite and wood chips. Drinking fountains and doggie play equipment.
- Orange Memorial Park. 20 acre park that includes a recreation building, sculpture garden, courts and fields for all kinds of sports.

There have a been a few assaults along the trail in the early morning and at night. Please exercise good judgement and caution. It should be safe during daylight.
