Church Micro 5637... Lynsted Multi-Cache

Lynsted is a village just south of Teynham.

There are some great walks and footpaths that can be accessed from nearby. 

There are also a bunch of other caches around so it seemed like all was missing was a church micro.

You are looking for a 35mm film canister.

The coords take you to the church yard, you need to find out some basic easy information

There does not appear to have been a church in Lynsted before the Conquest, as it is not included in the list of churches under Teynham in the Domesday Book.

Lynsted Church is mentioned as a chapel of "Tenham" in the Archbishop’s Black Book and was given, as well as Teynham, Doddington and Iwade, to his brother, the Archdeacon Simon Langton, in 1229 by Archbishop Stephen Langton. It is dedicated to St Peter and St Paul.

You need to find out the name of the church, it is mentioned above, and look at the stained glass windows on the east face of the church, the side opposite the clock tower, and the side closest to the road.

A= Tall Panes in centre window plus Number of Saints

B= Number of Saints (hint: who is church dedicated to?)

C= Tall Panes in either the left or right window

D= Tall Panes in left window plus Tall Panes in right window plus Number of Saints
