This cache was transferred to me in 2024 from williupt. The A was part of a geoart that spelled out SWAG. Originally each letter was managed by a different person. Over the years the southwest Oklahoma geocache group fizzled out. I think the people that manage the other letters are now inactive and I have a feeling it won’t be long until the S, W, and G are archived and all that will remain will be this A. The original description for these said:
Welcome to S.W.A.G. territory.
In order to salute the Southwest Area Geocachers group and the great members that make caching in our area so much fun, four S.W.A.G. members have placed this geo-art for your caching pleasure.
There is one regular size cache in each letter so you can exchange swag and travelers. Enjoy and Happy Caching!
***All the caches are along well-maintained county roads. Some of them are on dirt roads, so use the appropriate caution during or just after it rains. Please watch for farm equipment as well.***
-- Southwest Area Geocachers, Of Oklahoma are a group of people who are involved with Geocaching. This is a non-profit group, all voluntary with no commitment. We will meet as a group every month in a location to participate in different Geocaching Activities. Anyone is welcome to come and join in. Some months we will meet at a restaurant and eat a meal and socialize. Other months we will meet in an area and introduce new geocaches and tell stories. Tell your friends and bring the whole family and get involved in the great adventures of Geocaching.--
