A Curia é uma localidade portuguesa, localizada na freguesia de Tamengos do concelho de Anadia, onde se podem encontrar as famosas Termas com o mesmo nome. Local de grande procura na primeira metade do século XX, estando bastante presente a arquitectura Belle Époque e Arte Nova, teve posteriormente um período de algum abandono.
O local era já conhecido pelos romanos, que conheciam as nascentes e as exploravam, e lhe deram o nome de Aqua Curiva (água que cura), que veio a dar origem ao seu nome actual.
Em 1865, um dos engenheiros (La Chapelle) que dirigia as obras ferroviárias da Linha do Norte, tendo ouvido falar das águas que existiam na proximidade das obras tentou os seus benefícios para uma doença de pele que sofria e para a qual parecia não haver cura. O facto de ter ficado curado após os banhos naquelas águas divulgou as qualidades das ditas águas.
Possui um belíssimo Parque com cerca de 14 hectares onde entre as belas matas e jardins, se podem encontrar zonas de merenda, campos de ténis, um circuito de manutenção, e um lago artificial com cerca de 1 km, que quando foi construído se tornou no maior lago artificial da Península Ibérica. Aí, podem-se fazer calmos passeios de barco ou de 'gaivota'.
Remodelado em 2012, o centro da Curia apresenta-se agora bastante convidativo às vossas visitas. Além de muitas outras infrastruturas, foi construida uma Ciclovia em torno do Parque e com ligação á estação de Caminhos de Ferro, que permite aos visitantes conhecerem os 4 cantos desta magnífica localidade de uma forma mais segura e dinâmica.
No seguimento de uma aposta contínua nas acções ambientais por parte do Municipio, surgiu em 2014 o projecto "B AND" , que já criou uma rede de bicicletas púbilcas distribuidas por 5 postos (para já nesta fase inicial) e pretende a construção de ciclovias que estabeleçam ligação entre o CAR (Centro de Alto Rendimento de Sangalhos), a sede do concelho em Anadia e esta ciclovia da Curia. Na Curia podem usufruir destas bicicletas no complexo Curia Tecnoparque (N40º25.015|W8º27.972) e no edificio da Rota da Bairrada (N40º25.468|W8º27.388).
Como forma de trazer toda esta dinâmica ambiental e saudável para o mundo do Geocaching, o Team Espumante criou este pequeno Powertrail em 2012. Poderão optar por esta aventura a pé ou de bicicleta, sendo que no final não devem deixar por visitar o belo parque da Curia.

Curia is a portuguese town, located in Tamengos parish of Anadia municipality, where you can find a famous Spa of the same name. Place of high demand in the first half of the twentieth century, being very present the Belle Époque architecture and Art Nouveau, then had a period of some abandonment.
The site was already known by the Romans, who knew the springs and explored, and gave him the name Aqua Curiva (water cure), who came to give rise to its present name.
In 1865, one of the engineers (La Chapelle) who qorked in railway works of the Northern Line, having heard the water that existed in the vicinity of the works tried their benefits to a skin disease that suffered and for which there seemed to be healing . The fact of having been healed after bathing in these waters released the qualities of that waters.
It has a beautiful park with about 14 hectares where among the beautiful forests and gardens, can be found feeding areas, tennis courts, a fitness circuit, and an artificial lake with about 1 km, when it was built became the largest artificial lake in the Iberian Peninsula. You can try calm boating or 'seagull'.
Refurbished in 2012, the center of the Curia is quite inviting to visits. In addition to many other infrastructure, was built a bike path around the park and connection to the railway station, which allows visitors to know the four corners of this magnificent town safer and dynamically.

As a way to bring all this environmental and healthy dynamic to the world of Geocaching, Team Espumante created this little Powertrail in 2012. You may opt for this adventure on foot or by bike, and in the end should not leave to visit the beautiful park Curia.
