Welcome to the 9th Annual Metroparks Geocaching Adventure 2012, a geocaching game placed by MiGO members in partnership with the Huron-Clinton Metroparks. In order to complete the series, you will need to find the 11 caches hidden in the different Metroparks.

Inside the cover of each Geocache you will find two words. These are to be circled on a Word Search puzzle found on the Metroparks Geocaching Adventure 2012 Brochure found here.  We will be holding a geocachers picnic at Wolcott Mill Metropark on September 8.  Watch the Metroparks Geocaching Adventure 2012 Picnic Page for more details.



The cache is located less than 30 feet from the trail so bushwhacking further than that is not necessary and is discouraged to reduce impact on the environment.

Please park at the coordinates shown in the Waypoint table and start your walk at the Trail head coordinates.




THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. They are of the Tuliptree picnic area where parking is permitted. Solve this kid friendly puzzle to find the cache.

Notice: The park recently erected signs indicating that ONLY REGISTERED CAMPERS ARE ALLOWED TO PARK IN THE CAMPGROUND. To avoid the possibility of being ticketed, please park in the Tuliptree lot.


This cache is located within Lower Huron Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system. A Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required: Annual Permit $25. Senior Permit $15. Daily Permit $5.
