Geocache Description:

This Wandering Heroes cache is dedicated to a good friend... abowie

We started caching about the same time, and were soon helping each other solve puzzles and doing caching runs together.

One time we achieved a FTF together, on a multi, down at Port Noarlunga. This was done when my gps had been 'confiscated' whilst preparing our house for sale! Where there is a will there is a way..

Whilst abowie isn't caching as much as he used too, he is still getting out there.

Recently his help was sought out to retrieve a Zytheran cache using his scuba gear. He was more than willing to help the masses to this end.

Thanks abowie, you are a legend!

The cache is located on the Tailem Bend to Karoonda road. This is a good bitumen road with a wide mallee vegetation corridor.
